I found this statement from the article interesting and accurate. As the world becomes more interconnected, countries seek to define themselves based on culture. Therefore, arguments ensue when one nation feels that their culture has been "stolen" and displayed in another country. Especially as a large amount of (previously turbulent) nations become more stable, now they have the wealth and security to protect the items deemed important to their culture.
